First blog post from phone
I found an app for my blog which means I can write more nonsense when I'm traveling around America. I am on a train in France at the moment. This is the view:

the abandoned hotel
Where I am staying in the mountains I was granted access to an abandoned hotel. It has been empty since 1989, and the occupants left everything behind - including food on the stove. It's a spooky place. I'm told that the family who owned it are now all dead.
I am filming there with Pierre-Alain Giraud. Today we made this:
While looking around the place, I found some nice shoes.

south of france
So now the show has happened in the barn. Here is a photo:
The day after I went for a walk and stopped at a vide grenier and found this piano:
Then I went and visited a volcano:
I went camping. The drive down south was nice:
I saw a nice megaphone horn:
I had candy floss at a funfair:
There was a man bobbing his head while selling tickets to the funhouse:
And then I saw a piece of theatre that lasted four and a half hours:
And then I had my feet massaged by fish:
Finally I had dinner on the beach and I saw a nice portable toilet:

old post
I was bring driven around a lot and I wrote this post a few days ago, so I'm posting it now, even if it's out of date.
On July 12th I played a show at the larmer tree festival and I asked my friend Joey and her boyfriend Thomas to join me for a few songs. With joey I used to perform as a duet called treacles, but we hadn't been onstage together in 6 years. At larmer tree we did two of our old songs and a cover of these arms of mine. It rained a lot and I learned a new game called puckit and spoke a lot to an American girl called Prometheus. Here is a link to a Treacles song:
Then I took the bus back to Paris. I was sat next to a Japanese girl in the disabled seats do I had lots of legroom. I couldn't sleep though. Having travelled all night I got home at 8am and then had to wake up at 12 for my soundcheck at archikult festival. They had unlimited redbull and cake, so I filled myself up. A friend from brazil came and I got him some free beer. After the show a pretty girl from Portugal came and spoke to me. She was wearing a pleated top, white tights and a cardigan with hearts on it, and she had hair like Thelma from scooby doo.
After the concert I went home and had a nap and then went to the divan du monde, where I played my first Paris concert almost 5 years ago. I spent a few hours in the garden smoking cigarettes and recognising people I hadn't seen in years. Among those people was Diego - a young Argentinian I had helped find a concert when he first arrived in Paris. We chatted about how music is hard and he invited me to play with him at The Pop In the next day - a bar in Paris that I like.
My friend Tom arrived from England and came to meet me direct at The Pop In. During the concert I played some of my toy piano concerto ideas for the concert at chatelet. Drinks were free but I was tired so I drank a lot of cola.
During the evening I received an SMS to invite me to play an apartment show on Tuesday. I went with Thom and discovered 3 things that I liked: pizza (I relike it), the music of ... And the Yamaha vss-30 (I was reminded that i like it).
The next day, I travelled a few hours in the train to the south of France to the place where I recorded an album last year. I went to a rundown waterpark - the kind of place where the slides cut in to you like Parma ham. Here is a photo of a little park inside that waterpark:
On Saturday I will play a show here in a farmhouse. Weird thing is seeing posters of myself in the middle of nowhere. Like this:
In two weeks I'm going to America. That is all.
